We went up to the Farmer’s Market in Auburn on Saturday. Man I love living in California… We actually bought fresh strawberries. Its the middle of November and there’s still strawberries. They were fairly good, though they went bad quickly. We also got mandarins, which they grow around here [...]

Every year, around this time, Sarah goes to a place where there’s lots of apple orchards… Apple Hill. She generally comes back with about 3 bushels of apples or so. 1 1/2 bushels of golden delicious, and 1 1/2 bushels of winesap. Then the cookin’ begins…
