Things are looking up around here. We’ve managed to find some sanity, which is good. One really exciting recent development was finding a framer to take on our house. He’s a General Contractor that did the framing for some good friends (Gavin and Lisa), and was the General for Gavin’s mom’s house. [...]
A good weekend. The Cowboy was getting dressed Saturday morning, and put on a shirt with a frog on it that says “Go Climb a Tree”. He came out and asked me if we could go to our property, because he saw the shirt and it made him want to go climb on [...]

Monday was a holiday the way they’re supposed to be. We had fun as a family – and wow was it refreshing.
Took off in the morning and went out to the property with stakes, string, and a measuring tape to nail down exactly where the house and garage will be. Heavy rode in [...]
Maesie had her first day of preschool on Thursday, something she’s been looking forward to for about two years. She has been counting down the days until she got to go. We had some worry that she would clam up and get shy when she got there, but Sarah said she did great. [...]
