The lion pictures as promised. We finally got them on the computer yesterday and zoomed in and out to try to make sense of them. I’m still convinced it’s a mountain lion, but the fence nearby gives an odd perspective. A small one maybe? Not sure…

Painters are putting our house back together this morning, and planning on heading home mid-day. They got the kitchen and pantry done, along with all of the bedrooms and the kids bathroom. There’s still a fair bit they have to do, and I think they’ll come back somewhere down the line for that. [...]

The troops are all asleep in our room again. Sarah too. The painters are settling in for the night. Looks like they’ll be here until Wednesday afternoon finishing up everything inside. Just in time for them to get home for Thanksgiving.

So here we are. It has been an exhausting day, both physically and emotionally. Two trips up here, a garage packed full of stuff, a house in Lincoln that is mostly empty, but also a complete disaster with all of the little things that didn’t make it into boxes.

The plan is to move this Saturday! Hopefully most (or all) of the painting will get done this week and we’ll get either a final from the county or at least an “OK to occupy”. There won’t be carpet yet, but most everything else will be done!
